I was raised a southern Baptist and one thing that always stuck with me from the time I was a kid until this very moment is: Why are we supposed to matter?

...if you’re American. Hawking wasn’t, and being an atheist Brit is about as unremarkable as it gets.
“We know that dogs have the capacity to process at least some aspects of human language since they can learn to follow verbal commands,” he said. “Previous research, however, suggests dogs may rely on many other cues to follow a verbal command, such as gaze, gestures and even emotional expressions from their…
“What did you do?” often got a very specific reaction from the dogs I grew up with. It was most interesting when I knew there was a list of things and the dog would be trying to figure out which one I was referring to without giving away all the others.
That’s a lie. ID is NOT easy to get in many places, especially when you are dealing with older people who have lost the original documents they need to get IDs. People are stuck in catch-22's because they need an ID to get the source documents they need to get an ID.
“I haven’t seen them; therefore, they don’t exist.”
Counter to your anecdote: Spread the Vote.
“He’s pro-breastfeeding, he is seemingly pro-LGBTQ rights, he’s not afraid to speak out about climate change and reiterate that this shit is real and yes, it is probably humanity’s fault.”
Just a reminder: the “Cool” Pope has never been cool on LGBTQ issues. He has made some nice sounds on LGB acceptance with no policy changes to back them up. He has actively denigrated trans folks, comparing them to nuclear weapons as affronts to his god’s plan.
Sigh. Yes, I know - the comment seemed like it applied to all beef, not just processed meat. I was mostly being facetious, and I apologise for the glib tone and to the poor commenter, towards whom I acknowledge I sound like an ahole. My point really was that, as a foreigner, there seems to always be more ingredients…
Eh, I assumed they were referring to processed beef products, which can have artificial additives that could definitely cause a reaction, but it seemed like they consequently avoided all beef products. Which, I mean, I could also be misreading and now we’ve discussed another poster’s offhand comment with far too much…
I actually watched a video of a somewhat similar thing last night:
Jesus, is that what American food looks like? They don’t even try to make it look like the real stuff anymore, huh?
Not sure about your dad’s cousin’s orientation, but I know *gay* people that defended Trump prior to the election as an ally of gay rights. In the end their fear/racism won out over any sort of objective position on the information in front of them.
That’s what they do. The guidelines in the document include planning and negotiating the scene and even Rooster mentioned they had a planned out the scene ahead of time.
Where the problem comes in is that when you plan a scene well in advance, like days or weeks earlier, feelings, limits and consent can change during…
When you’re tired and you misread the raptor part and imagine a Jurassic Park sequel about the jerk who buys a house right by the park and then incessantly complains.
That reminds me of a story in the paper when I first moved to Phoenix that had everyone on the job site laughing. A woman was trying to sue a developer because they hadn’t disclosed that local wildlife would eat her cats if she let them run free.
When’s the last time you paid for porn? You’re probably destroying the industry too.
Yeah, damn near impossible to get whatever kind of porn you want anymore.
