I don't know about at Lolla, but at ACL Fest they have free water-filling stations to top off Camelbaks or water bottles (brought in empty, of course) at a few locations in our park. And usually right next to them is a huge mister station to relax in some cool shade for a few minutes.

Even hotter than the 4th of July weekend in ‘12? Because I made the mistake of visiting that lovely city on the lake for my first time that weekend, expecting to get a nice break from the blazing Texas heat, only to end up in a walking city where daily highs were at 102-103° & the air conditioning was definitely not…

Because the same company runs the Austin City Limits Fest in late September & early October and they have to have some buffer time between those beasts of festivals. (Of course, Austin in late September is still well into the 90s with our typical high humidity, and if it weren’t for the damn holiday season starting…

I've only flown Quantas between LAX & Auckland, NZ, and the flights were pretty darn enjoyable. The outgoing plane to Kiwiland was PACKED, but we still got plenty of attention & care. The one back to the States was maybe 1/3 full, and me & my traveling companions all moved to our own rows of seats so we could lounge…

I was legitimately surprised when I had a layover in Denver & they had all three of those listed amenities. I bought some duty-free MAC cosmetics, got a chair massage, and enjoyed a decent appetizer & quality beer while waiting for my delayed United flight to arrive.
