@nan0werx: I have used it for Dance Central. It's really just ok, to me. I mean I appreciate the swiping more than hovering but like most motion controls I just end up wishing I could navigate with a real controller.
Nothing could be simpler than waving my hands around to clumsily hover over menu items. Kinect's strengths are NOT in navigating UI!
I made the same mistake yesterday based on the Colorblind recommendation article. I'd like my 99 cents back but playing ColorBIND is making me feel better.
I bought this. I felt cheated. Then I bought the superior but similarly-named "Colorbind" and felt muuuuch better. I recommend that instead.
Geez, at 30 games played my list doesn't compete. Either way, 2010 was a hell of a year and 2011 already looks like it'll top that.
SHIBUYA!
If they're still running Windows XP Service Pack 1, call for help!
Yep.
@eipxen: True, I think a lot of the design world has moved past that though. If you see a logo nowadays that's just the name of the company in Helvetica you can move along knowing that not much effort went into it. At least that's how I feel. Nothing wrong with minimalism but this article is a good example of how it…
Replacing design with shitty eraser-tool non-design is not always better.
Shoulda teamed up with Faukes.
@Suprehombre: Also read/write times should be a lot faster than disc-based media which means faster loading, etc. (HOPEFULLY)
2011 has already obliterated 2010 if most of those games actually come out. It's going to be a great year to be a gamer. Boner sequeeeence ACTIVAATE
Activision is selling Bizarre Creations but Robomodo is perfectly fine. Think about that.
That Ke$ha parody video is almost as bad as the original. For me, I think OK Go was the best because it seemed to take the most talent to pull off. But in my heart of hearts... it's a full on double rainbow. Too tough to call.
I think Brian's YouTube account was hacked.
It's pretty cool for concept art but I tend to reserve any judgement until I see the actual game. Concept art can be so misleading or even build up a game only to let me down when the real in-game visuals are shown. See: Epic Mickey. The concept art was so much cooler than the game's actual design.
Sony Move Pro controller shipping in Q4 2011.
That would be great. My only fear would be the series would lose some of its lushness and become a little too beige but I'm sure Naughty Dog wouldn't let that happen.
