Yeah, I thought they were going to crack a joke about how long she'd been asleep.
Yeah, I thought they were going to crack a joke about how long she'd been asleep.
I always think that, then I remember that teens that age sometimes choose to finish their education before properly committing to the acting profession. She has been in things like Pitch Perfect 2, so it's not like she's completely disappeared, but yeah - I'm waiting for her next quality drama role.
This show has a bad habit of never Chekhov-ing their guns. The dynamite on the bell. The Gorgon head on the glass. Orion. The Kindred. That, more than anything, shows how poorly run this season of TV was. Good TV - hell, good storytelling full stop - is setup and payoff. Set something up, resolve it. All this season…
Even better/grosser when you realise that makes it Ms. Bathroom Spill Belcher.
They're gonna get rickety rickety wrecked.
Staking the claim right now. Next one of these episodes, it's Rosa. Rosa did it. She plotted the whole thing.
My memory of that season 1 scene was that the figure Raina spoke to was locked in a dusty cell, with a bleeding hand. In my head, given the blue alien goo, her dad was extraterrestrial and this figure (face never seen), was some kind of alien. Separately, in this episode, a human guy asks about his daughter. Could…
I have to say I'm pretty annoyed that the review brazenly spoils an ongoing mystery from day one about Skye's origins. I don't read press materials or watch previews of future episodes. The spoiler's inclusion is unnecessary in the context and I was blissfully unaware of the connection. Obviously many people here…
Walking Dead, Once Upon A Time, The Bridge, Homeland, Orange is the New Black?
Well that's pretty devastating. :(
I think you mean Bon Temps Legal.
Didn't Malvo mention in his one on one with Lou at the diner that he'd been in the same area many decades ago when Lou was investigating a series of murders? Could be further evidence that the 'what' could have been Malvo? Need to go back and rewatch that scene to refresh my memory.
I'm kind of glad that Katee Sackhoff didn't get stuck in this goddamn show. It's hard enough watching Jennifer Morrison wince her way through the terrible writing, knowing she has been so much better in other things.
I think a key theme in Lost often overlooked by some viewers is the problem with blindly adhering to the instructions of "important figures". Ben looks like a mystical guy with key knowledge of the island, but actually is left in the dark about half of it and has merely functional knowledge of the residual technology…
Happily/sadly, in two seasons Hannibal has outdone any gruesome murder that ever has or will be aired on television.
I was getting a bit of a Ledger 'Joker' vibe, particularly in the voice.
That's true, I had overlooked that role.
Yep, that was my point. It doesn't fit, so it was never going to happen. I was just eager to see more.
I think I want Adrien Brody. Tennant is too likeable. Brody can be funny and eager but also cool and distant.
Oh yeah, I forgot Capaldi was in this one too. I remembered him as the Torchwood minister, which means he's played three characters in universe now.
