I can see the value in all of this, but how are these people actually getting the stats from the game? If I am playing Call of Duty on my Xbox, how would I even get my number of kills per match or any other stats - from my screen to my computer for analysis?

then a lot of people are making their logos the wrong way. photoshop isn't vector meaning the logo won't scale too large without becoming a pixelated blob. this is a problem when you want to put your logo on a t-shirt or billboard or something that requires higher DPI artwork.

You don't HAVE to root Android to get those features. Rooting your Android allows you to do stuff like overclocking...the other features like tethering and customizing your phone theme are built into Android and do not require rooting. But You DO have to jailbreak an iPhone to get those features.
