Reading all these comments saying that Metal Gear never made any sense I’m starting to think a lot of you are going to be disapointed by Death Stranding.

Is anybody else shocked that this is actually coming out on such a timely schedule (3 years)? Final Fantasy XV took 13 years if you include the span when it was called “Versus XIII”.

It’s the experience for me. Whatever the hell it is, it’s not being phoned in or focus grouped. 

Oh absolutely me, it may be bonkers and nonsense but I LOVE the bonkers and nonsense. It’s a franchise with hours and hours of cutscenes, it’s safe to say plenty of people are drawn to that aspect.

The original design is so bad that professional animators and 3D designers are providing revised versions for free!

I read that Sega didn’t have any involvement with the movie other than licensing the Sonic characters.  Sega really should have more direct involvement with their licensing efforts.

I’m actually really surprised with how much better this makes the movie seem even with the CG not being especially polished.  Just goes to show design matters more than technical perfection.

100% agree with this. So much analysis being put out has a negative slant, which given the path taken to get to a lot of these conclusions I can understand, but Sansa played the Game as well as anyone and I think that needs to be admired as much as the rest of this season is admonished.
