valid point. I enjoy my nexus 7, but I'm rocking cyanogenmod on it anyway. used so many of the minor features on my phone so long, i felt lost without them on my tablet.

the best part about kindle fire (at least the 7") is that you can root it, put stock android on it. and then even if you void your warranty and break something. you can buy another one, full price and come out at about the same price as an ipad mini.

Indeed. if you have 3 players and 2 leave, the game is over. if you have 100,000 players and 1,000 leave, the community lives. (and players leaving the community is bound to happen over time due to RL, new games, etc)

Skype has worked fine for me in metro, but it is loaded with adds so I wind up pushing it to the background on my second monitor anyway. (when the ads change, it catches the corner of my eye). I haven't bothered yet, but I'm pretty sure that I will revert to the skype desktop application too.
