Using windows 8, I see the metro ui maybe once or twice an hour (for opening programs, most programs I have pinned to the taskbar though). tops. Everytime I run is faster in windows 8 than windows 7. there are more tools. The only POSSIBLE downside I could see is metro and other than aesthetics, its not really a

Last time I actually used Wacom myself was back in like 2004, when it was all stylus stuff, before capacitive touch devices. Was cool, but seemed like a novelty that I'd never need/want (I was using an artist's pad and I'm not an artist myself).

I was thinking that too. People in the opposite end of the place will just hear a cough. but the person next to you might think you have some sort of ... problem.

Self centered people are only a subset of people who get phone calls.

An ad that gets its own post on a highly visited gadget site has done half of its job: getting views.

:-P 128mb.

Yes I'm no doubt an extreme case. And you can install apps to the SD card in cyanogenmod. (thats the only way I kept my sanity with 512mb on my evo)

I pick up most of the amazon app store free app of the day . I have all of the Humble Bundles for Android (a few of those games are over 100mb a piece). Also. apparently many of my apps cache a lot of stuff (my maps install is up to 90mb by itself).

google has support in the app department. many apps work great/different on tablets. this just has to be done by the developer. I'd rather have a crappy looking blown up phone app than one that doesn't work at all.

only average folk can't figure out the math. its mentioned clearly in the second article I linked that there are VERY REAL psychological effects of people using foreign currency in that they don't do the conversion every time they buy stuff. Or they are solidly engrained with "this is worth -100- cents, so getting it

the guy trying to sell me my galaxy s 3 was trying to downsell to the 16gb (because they didnt have 32gb in stock and he wanted the commission) by claiming that the phone "has an SD slot, it isnt set storage space like an iphone"

Theres a lot of psychology involved in using intermediate currency. It causes you to think less about the act of spending money, because you're only spending a virtual currency (that you spent real money to obtain).

It depends on the controls. Mouse i do regular. Xbox i do inverted. On steel battalion I did inverted look and regular control. On flight games I do inverted (thats how they are in real life). At this point ive been gaming for 20+ years, so changing control schemes like that isn't going to come that quick. While

I agree. Depending on my mood I can listen to some non-singing muic (like "techno"). But a lot of my friends/coworkers get absolutely befuddled when I say I prefer silence.

Generally blue like that works for me. (i used to use the swooshy blue OSX wallpaper). I made one once a long time ago (included image). I haven't used it in years (its pretty low res, and needs some different colors) but i like the perfectly vertical/horizontal lines, because it scales well to any resolution / aspect

I agree with the silence thing. Most people think I'm crazy because I don't listen to music while working. But any music at all I find to be very distracting.

i capped out at level 16 or so in FFXI. This was pre any expansion, and at the time anyway it was borderline impossible to move forward without being in a group and took quite a bit of time commitment.

dark minimalistic or abstract is my favorite. Works best for if I ever have to share my desktop for work.

The opposite of what you are claiming is the issue.

:-/ I think i have 250 hours on wizard, 100 on DH, about 25 on barb and 15 on monk. I dont even want to go into other MMO's
