@Br1zon: Right now they need X amount of fuel to launch the craft, payload, and fuel itself into orbit. There comes a point where you have to say the payload must weigh no more than Y. If you even increase the efficiency of X by 30% then you can increase the payload. 3 trips become 1 trip which = savings $$$.
