With Bartolo judging?

ignore the “outrage” part. it’s not an uncommon thing to happen.

exactly. i have a subaru outback, and that thing is like a tank in snow. i just go right around them.

god, winter in tidewater was awesome.

I was active duty during one of the shutdowns. my bank (Navy Federal Credit Union) said that they would credit everyone active duty with their regular paycheck, then when we got our back pay, they would take that, interest free. it was a great thing for them to do in a very shitty situation.

yea, I did as much as i could by myself. a Haynes manual and youtube are priceless with an older car.

i found a TDI guru about 30 minutes from me case of beer and $150 later, i was good to go.

yup. i bought the 100K kits with everything for about $300 (if memory serves me correct). new belt, pullys, water pump, etc.

cost of the fuel? no idea. it was routinley about 20% higher than gas in my area, but my cost per mile was way below a gasser.

yeah, i always bought the 100K belts, and changed them on the dot. i wasn’t going to risk it. if it blew before then, it would be warranteed.

Ahh, yeah. though if i didn’t to the TB changes on schedule, the interference head would have been much more expensive!

i took my 01 TDI to almost 300K.

EcoBoost mustang!

$51 here!

That was a great one too. i remember the daily show saying that when the person you are trying to put down says “go on...” you may want to rethink your statement.

it was such a great comeback though. he’s great with those. his whole “i have no more campaigns to run” line during the state of the union was awesome.

Obama shut down Romney during the 2012 debate when he brought up the size of the navy

My 01 jetta TDI took me to 300K before my wife made me get rid of it.

i’m convinced i’m in an abusive relationship with bacon. all i do is love it, and all it does is hurt me when i try to prepare it
