I hate to say it, but I bet a lot of folks spend extra time checking for fear of being ticketed. A cop probably doesn’t exhibit that same behavior.

That trucker knew what was about to happen. You can see he was beginning to veer left before impact so my guess is he was freakin’ out even before he went into the intersection.  I’m assuming that helped reduce the severity of the impact along with the SUV sliding in the snow.
