My dad has an original french one. 1978 vintage, same as me :) It's restored and in very good condition. Sky blue metallic. :)
Given the safety of todays cars, the bulldozer scene would totally loose its pupose. When having a head on collision with a dozer, and a maximum contact surface, odds are good, that kovalski would survive the crash and walk away from it, thus allowing the cops to arest him. This would be pretty much an anti-climax to…
Wrong movie. Indiana jones doesn't drive an aston.
He probably came past at lunatic speed (random spaceballs reference), and tripped on a pebble.
And the current model ain't a beauty queen either...
Looks fugly.
What if this is just a MM lookalike and this is just fake?
i bet they dipped them into the anti corosive bath only for this commercial.
Pretty funky camber angles on the front wheels...
This actually doesn't look that bad. But unfortunately it's a gm product.
Probably a lamborghini concept.
The silver one with the patina on the door and roof looks mean. If only it had a 440, a 4 speed and cherry bombs..... :)
@lascauxcaveman: OMFG..... yes, i'd like that, if i were in the US.That's a fuselage newport wagon?! drool.... I love mopar wagons.
Isn't the price a bit steep?
And what's with the fugly spoiler and the even uglier black trim on the underside?
The best model car i've built is this:
When your car doesn't react to braking, stop braking and BEHOLD, you will be able to steer clear of the situation. On roads as slippery as this, no abs will work. The wheels will just lock up as if there was no abs. Foot of the brake and use your head to steer clear of the carnage. Idiots.
If i'd have one, i'd pop a Mercedes star on the front and a BMW propeller on the back. It would completly confuse the shit out of everyone, and it'd look totally belivable.
The front up to the B pillar is from the previous S class, and from the B pillar on it's the bmw 5 series. Looks kinda generic all in all. A typical hyundai. The coupe will be better.
