New Jersey World was very underrated.
New Jersey World was very underrated.
Poor Robot Omar and his loop.
I'm curious if we'll see any reprisals of PoI music here, if only because of the AI subject.
Thanks, I missed that bit of dialogue I think. I'm due for a rewatch.
She'd fit in with this cast so well.
Don't worry, I didn't think you were a dick. And I am usually wrong about most things.
I wouldn't know.
Wasn't that Peter Weller, not Ed Harris?
Quite possibly. The one bit that felt a bit touched on in post was when he zipped up the body bad. Something felt a bit off there. Which, I guess, was the point.
Unleash every Ed Harris.
Okay, I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who thought that.
Can we stop and appreciate Anthony Hopkins here? I mean, he's Anthony Hopkins, he is always amazing. But remember that story about how he wrote a letter to Bryan Cranston after binging Breaking Bad, saying that Cranston convinced him not to give up acting? I think that happened just before he signed onto Westworld.…
It's weird to say since he's a highly respected, successful actor, but Ed Harris always feels underrated. He is absolutely amazing here. I can't help but feel that the show is building to a showdown between Hopkins and Harris, and I am so excited.
That's one detail I missed, why is it called the "reverie" update?
With the Jonathan Nolan and AI connection, I'm only going to see him as Logan Pierce from Person of Interest.
I thought this worked better than Luke Cage. That felt too static (although the theme music was killer). I'm guessing the credits will lose their luster as things go on, but they were intriguing this time.
As a Penny Dreadful fan, I know what you're getting at and I agree.
It's the one Disney film in recent years that really got to me. So good.
Agreed! I'm currently making my way through Person of Interest (halfway through season 3) and loving how Westworld and PoI complement each other by offering different looks at AI.
It's either like Zardoz responded and it's old non-public infrastructure, or based on some of the designs, it was a former greeting area or maybe even a different themed section.
