It is! Michael frakking Smiley, one of the greats. Also known as Zombie Tyres in Shaun of the Dead, the Reverend Green in The World's End, that guy from every Wheatley film save for High-Rise, a cop in Luther, and just being awesome.

Oy oy you lucky people!

Plus Sam Riley, Noah Taylor, and Armie Hammer!

I didn't notice that, good catch!

Without going into spoilers, the last two episodes of the season dive into that, in a great way. Moura really captures the "what might have been" element there.

I cannot get over how much Leynar Gomez looks like Jeremy Renner.

Maybe when they eventually get to Sinoloa he'll show up?

The actor playing Carillo is a far better Frank Castle than Bernthal was on Daredevil.

The guy playing Martinez looks like he could be the brother of Joaquiem de Alameda.

She didn't? I know Don Berna did, and didn't her husband Kiko Moncada exist though?

It was so succinct, yet so well built up. It was a great "He's back" moment.

I think Carrillo's a composite character, and one of those people he's based on, Colonel Martinez, shows up this season (equally handsome, badass, etc). But he's played as far more by the book (but no less effective).

Carillo is right-wing murderous and dangerous, but damn if he isn't badass. The show gets across his crimes without making him any less awesome.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who thinks Limon looks like Latino Jeremy Renner. Between that and Judy Moncado's brother in the season premiere looking like Latino Daniel Bruhl, I'm wondering if Shane Black had a hand in this.

The season premiere is excellent.

A very strong opening. I liked Murphy's narration a lot this time around, in its sparsity and dryness (the opening bit was great). Since this picks directly up from season one, it does seem that Murphy is near-conversational in Spanish, but not fluent at all. Pena's still the more interesting of the two, and I like

This episode: Latino Jeremy Renner in Limon and Latino Daniel Bruhl in Jaime. Was Shane Black involved?

Whatever, Hackers is an awesome movie and incredibly relevant. Better politics than Mr. Robot at this point too.

True, true.

He was superb as Wickham in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (a rather surprisingly solid and entertaining film that had one of the best casts I've seen assembled in the last few years).
