Darkseid is Captain Cold's dad. I love it when these sorts of multi-DC character crossovers happen.

Still kind of bummed that Hourman series is in development hell.

This was perhaps the best performance Wenworth Miller's done as Captain Cold yet. Like, he's been amazing so far, able to portray Snart as a cunning strategist who revels in being able to be an over the top supervillain. He invokes camp in-universe. But here, we saw him on the ropes, his camp toned down but still kind

Self-started a successful high tech HIVE.

Not enough snark either.

I've never been a big fan of Amell as an actor, particularly as present day Ollie/Arrow/Green Arrow. He's been good in the flashbacks because instead of a stoic killer, he gets to be in over his head and react to that, which works. He gets to be snarky and upset. If a bit of that gets into present-day Oliver I'll be

He got disfigured, so I suspect we'll see some version of the mask and robes.

Her dad will be the Calculator, not Darkh.

I hate that as well. But I still think Felicity's dad is the Calculator and he's working for HIVE.

Don't forget that he's against bad language.

Which is a good description of Anarky's style as well.

I must admit the pinky promise bit was funny in a very dark way.

That was Oliver's MO in season one. He'd kill totally innocent guys working for a security company hired out by one corrupt rich guy, then spare the rich guy. Every episode.

Okay, right? He definitely shot those guys in the heart. They went down, no movement or twitches. To quote Dom DeLuise in Men in Tights: Dead. D-E-D, ded!

"A red arrow just means you can't turn left."

Is it just me, or did Oliver straight up murder some dudes in the opening scene? He shoots arrows into the hearts of those two HIVE guys and they went down, not moving. And then he lectured Thea. Ummm….

I didn't mind the lecture, for the same reasons you said. My problem was that the scene where she broke that dealer's arm was horrendous. Bad script, bad acting from Amell and Thea's actress. The follow up scene with the lecture and Crazy!Thea fighting was great. But the first scene was so bad.

Yeah. Whatever happens in season 5's flashbacks, they have to end with him having shoulder length hair and a gnarly beard.

The only thing that made Amell look vaguely like the comics' Ollie Queen. Now he's just some random guy calling himself Oliver Queen.

Hits one loose log, wipes out spectacularly.
