Maybe Caspere bought them? Not enough info yet.

Some seemed pretty out of it. Maybe it's so no one can recognize faces?

"Hold up your badge so they know you're police."

And thank you. I enjoy trying to solve a good mystery.

Ray's dad did (being a bit tired at first, I was wondering if that was Ray's dad Paul talked to; it's not). Not as much as it was forced to change after the Rampart scandal years later, but it was. It seems someone used the riots to cover up a heist (not a bad plan, to be honest). And that person has ties to Caspere,

I still think the big issue was waiting until the end for the body reveal. Maybe if they'd had that as a framing device and flashed back to the discovery it would have worked. Like, episode 2 got the plot really moving in a good way. Season one started WITH the body discovering, giving immediate propulsion to the

Yeah. He was in the background with Frank early on (slicked back, semi-receeding hair). You've got the nameless bearded dude, Nails the eery goateed driver, Blake the double-dealing bastard, and Stan (RIP Stan).

Stan's boy is so money.

The last three episodes have been amazing.

Drugs plus PTSD, perhaps?

Rolo Tomassi.

I am really curious about the Gonzalezes. They're late-arrival players, and seriously into screwing with Frank. I'm guessing whoever was behind screwing Frank up in the first half of the season sent them after him to keep him busy.

Exactly. I suspect it was MDMA combined with something.

That line was great. Some have dismissed it, but I chuckled. Vaughn sold it.

One of the best bits? Remembering that Frank is high as hell during the opening scene. Before answering the door, he and Jordan were puffing away on a big joint.

Yeah. I'm not saying anyone's nitpicking, not looking to get into those fights, but in the moment of being out of breath and dodging bullets? The line worked.

I'm going to guess the girls were lied to and its MDMA meets roofies or something.

These dudes were OLD.

Agreed. Pizzolato and co. have kind of been quietly responding (not perfectly, but still) to the sexism criticism of season one, and by not lingering on the luridness of the sex party, they did a great job.

Muscle memory. Beats bad molly and PTSD any day.
