Heh, there's a fun Kung Fu nod a few episodes later.

Shadowland.
Vanessa definitely feels like the big bad of season 2. Or at least the instigator that sets everyone loose.
I don't think it's season 2, I think it's Defenders. The Hand is going to slowly infest NYC over the next three solo series, with Defenders being about that one city block the Hand has and doing a loose Shadowland story.
If they adapted that story and The Devil Takes a Ride, I'd be in heaven. The chance is slim to nil considering all of the necessary setup for it to work, but I love those stories.
I was going to ask, I never read Daredevil comics with Stick in them, is he supposed to be a 'nam vet? Or was the fatigues look just something the show went for?
Exactly. Didn't see the film, but I can't imagine Stamp being totally awful. Maybe not snarky, but Terence Stamp is awesome.
It's not even that the idea the flaws are built around are bad. The idea of Superman being gone, the world moving on different ways, him coming back and having to deal with letting things go bad in his absence is great. Superman's all about helping people, so that dilemma, that angst actually works without being…
The moment I definitely noticed the difference was when he says "Decide" in the final episode to that one guy. Just pure, direct, no-nonsense. Every time he's out of costume, even to Claire, it's more emotional and loose, casual.
Okay, Amell for Red Lantern.
Never confirmed or denied. Same with Supergirl on CBS. Anything is possible.
Ah man, we almost had a Diggle vs. Oliver fight. Why did that not happen? I would pay good money to see Diggle beat the tar out of Oliver! Best character vs. (non Laurel) worst character.
So, Lance enters the Arrowcave, and doesn't ask what the hell the salmon ladder is? Missed opportunity.
There's that one scene of him in Smallville, watching the news, seeing all of the atrocities, and just furious at himself for not being there to help, and it's the best Superman scene I've seen in any live action adaptation. Superman's about helping people, selflessly. The film and Routh got that.
I loved him. Wish he was still Superman. Unlike Cavill, he can act!
See Superman Returns. Has a ton of flaws, but it's take on Superman (and Routh's performance) isn't one of them. Unlike Man of Steel, where they got the core of Superman's character wrong and some other stuff right, Returns does the opposite. Also the plane rescue is one of the best superhero movie action scenes.
He was awesome in the Brick arc. Better costume than Oliver, more interesting to be honest. Shame he's gone.
It does help that Routh is a better actor and capable of emotion, unlike Amell.
I
I really hope so.
Wintergreen's still dead. And all of the nameless, just doing their job, security guards Ollie killed in season one.
