That was mean, and pretty funny, so…slow clap.

Been meaning to see that for ages, for Hinds, Craig, and Amalric. Thanks for reminding me.

Check out Rome where he IS Julius Caesar. Also the underrated John Carter of Mars where he's reunited with Marc Antony from Rome. And The Sum of All Fears where he's really good as a Russian president.

Seems likely. Rattleshirt was in the trailers as a villain. Shame that we lost Tormund though if that's the case. He and Mance are two of my favorites.

Seriously. War of the Five Kings, and no one gives a rat's about one of the kings.

Are we ever going to see Balon Greyjoy dying? Come on now!

He saw a great battle against the White Walkers. He's concerned by duty, and what's coming. It's why he went to the Wall. He needs Westeros united for what's to come.

No no, that was Tormund. Jon shot him, remember? In the knee!

Nope, he was awesome. Ciaran Hinds is one of the best actors out there. Even with the weird drawl he affected, he was better than almost every other character (save Jon, Stannis, Davos, and Melisandre).

So the five interesting characters (Jon, Melisandre, Stannis, Davos,
and Mance) are all together at The Wall, and if my memory of the books is correct, will stay there. And since they cut out the Greyjoy Uncles, I guess there isn't going to be any other compelling plot line.

…and the five interesting characters (Jon, Melisandre, Stannis, Davos, and Mance) are all together at The Wall. Every other storyline feels boring in comparison.

He was in Bendis's run (I'm not a fan of that) and Brubaker's (which I love).

I hope Turk shows up in all of the following shows. Just make him (and the Hand), the connecting thread, 'verse wise.

The fact that he was chainsmoking nonstop in the season finale made it all the more better.

Thank you! I'm not the only one calling him Kung Fu Ron Howard.

Let's not forget that in GotG, he loses his two daughters/henchladies, Ronan betrays his, he loses the Infinity Stone, and an army he provided Ronan. And the Nova Corps knows about him and doesn't seem that worried. We're supposed to take him seriously as an escalating threat?

Funny you mention that, I got an Evil Omar vibe from Rob Morgan's take on Turk.

I love Turk. Sure, he's evil, but he's charming. They turned the ultimate sad sack from the comics into a kind of Evil Omar, and it's great.

I just can't get into it. It doesn't work for Fisk. Episode 8, the Kingpin-centric one, highlighted that. I don't see "suave mastermind," I see "stunted petulant child." Wesley's more interesting.

I'm alone in this, but I HATE D'Onofrio as the Kingpin. It just doesn't work. He's got the build, and when he's in action, fine. But his performance….no. Every bit of dialogue feels forced. People mock Bale's Batman voice, but that was for effect. D'Onofrio's sounds comical. And I can't reconcile "kingpin of crime"
