You know, except for those times when it settles major lawsuits:
I write a lot for work and use it religiously. There are no good reasons to not use it and plenty of good reasons to use it. It’s also probably the second-most common change I make when editing something someone else has written, but fortunately, I’m responsible for maintaining our internal style guide, so I included…
I mean you should feel bad for that. Corporate greed is corporate greed so this may have been an inevitability, but consumers who act in a way that would literally prevent the sustainable operation of the service can certainly accelerate that process.
Lived long enough to become the villain, I see
Nintendo could just release it on the e-shop. No announcement. Just release and watch the internet go nuts. It would absolutely shoot their customer goodwill through the roof. That would be so awesome but no, Nintendo doesn’t like people having fun.
Time to redownload a game about
Bingo.
Sorry Luke, I don’t agree with you. Settings like this look ridiculous on the surface but make more sense if you look at it from a “not a straight white guy” perspective. Yes hate speech needs to be confronted at every turn, but some non-white people use the n-word in non-racist ways. Some fat people (myself included)…
I’m not thirsty. I’m not horny.
I’ve been stalking him and telling him he looks like a rotting mackerel but that seems to make him uncomfortable too. You can’t win with this guy!

You can argue that’s because they are leveraging their O365 customer base and packaging it (and that is definitely a large reason), but that means a ton of people are using it. However, Teams cannot compete in the consumer space, hence this Discord purchase.
Teams is fine. Our department has been using it for the past year. Zoom, on the other hand, is fucking garbage.
A Goth Club....for adults....all-black dress code.....expensive membership dues.
That’s a very dangerous line of thought. Group punishment is, without exception, never acceptable. Now in this case the consequence for the rest of the team was unavoidable, and that falls squarely on “Wrigley’s” fault. What he did there should absolutely be no tolerance for.
Same, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is also one of the movies I have watched over and over.
We let our son cry it out a bit, too, mostly because he just wanted to sleep in our arms and would cry the second his body hit the crib, even if he had just been fast asleep. I think he needed to kind of work it out a bit on his own. He’s also always been a great sleeper
I think it depends on the particular child and parents. We moved both of our kids to their own rooms as early as possible. We would read them a bedtime story and lay them down in their cribs when they were still awake. If they cried we would give it 5 minutes. If they were still crying we would comfort them for a…
Feels like a natural extension of Summer Wars. And given that part of the story takes place in Kochi, I’m hoping for a little touch of Wolf Children as well to showcase the rural beauty of the area. Shimanto River, maybe?
