I love this so much. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why Laika just can’t seem to get a breakout hit.
Kubo had it all: humor, action, wonderful characters, and stunning visuals. I just don’t get why more people aren’t clamoring for Laika’s next release.

This feels like the granddaddy of all soulless cash-grabs.

This description deserves so many more stars.

I don’t doubt the truth of that at all. I’m sure you’re correct, and I think as the old guard of authoritarian, less-teachable medical professionals retire, there will be more like you who are willing to be collaborative.

OK, here’s a tougher one for you... I recently went to a movie (a comedy) where one dude was laughing SO LOUD AND HARD at every joke that it was ruining the movie for everyone in the theater.

The power imbalance. It’s well-known, and there’s a huge body of scholarly work around it in addition to the mountains of anecdotal evidence from patients. Enjoy :)

I support anything that helps even out the power imbalance between doctor and patient.

I see your point, but this didn’t seem to bother me as much as it bothered others.

I was giddy when “Bloody Tears” started playing, and it only got better from there.

I live in Utah, work for a great tech company (of which there are TONS here including Microsoft, Adobe, myriad startups, etc.), own my home + an additional rental property, and I’m just a rank-and-file guy pretty far down the org chart. Also, I graduated about five years ago, and my commute is 15 minutes each way.

I’ve been told that the headphone jack, and its accompanying parts, keep manufacturers from making the phone thinner since headphones are uniformly a single thickness and you can’t make one part of the phone thicker than the rest.
