If you put the avocado pit in the guacamole, it won't turn brown either. Try it! It's changed my guacamole life forever.

I've always made the guacamole with a hint of lime and then left 1 or 2 seeds in the guacamole (depending on the amount of guacamole). The seeds will absorb quite the amount of oxygen before the color starts to change and it doesn't change the flavor at all :). Mexican speaking hahaha.

If you leave the avocado seed in the guac when you make it, it stays green. Not sure of the reasons, but I know it works for at least a couple of days. And guac rarely stays uneaten for more than 2 days in my house! :-)

well personally, i think moleskin notebooks are good for doodling, not really writing, but again this is a personal reference because I cant write without lines.

These are lessons in proper pretreatment, and pretreatment is sort of a lost art. If your mother or housekeeper didn't school you in this, it's actually quite useful to learn that hairspray will pretreat ink stains and that a solution of dawn dishwashing liquid and hydrogen peroxide will pretreat red wine stains, etc.…
