Idk, for me that just makes the game more interesting and stand out. There are a dozen realistic, using the same gritty texture horror games out there and I can’t tell them apart.
For me it’s the fear you get from trying not to get caught that is immersive. Like blaming a Scooby Doo game on Gamecube, haha. Silly but…
Me too! Moreso than even Resident Evil or other horror games, Bioshock scared the crap out of me.
I kind of prefer this comic-horror style game. I suspect if this game looked “real”, it would be too horrific for me to actually play. I had a hard time with Bioshock. I couldn’t finish it. But this is charming enough to play without having a heart attack.
I’m curious about that last scene in the first video. It gives me the impression that being caught might just progress the storyline instead of ending it outright, which would be a pretty cool mechanic.
