My inner English nerd requires me to say that you meant “going to” and not “gonna.” If one is going to engage in pedantry then one had better ensure that one makes no reciprocal errors.

I loathe people on the side of the road who leap at your car, smear dirty water across your previously clean windshield and then expect tipping for the service you neither asked for nor wanted.

I feel the same way about buffets and fast food outlets where you’re literally providing your own service and yet their point of sale machines ask how much you’d like to tip for the service you didn’t receive.

I’m still waiting for the RyanAir pilots to start standing at the jetway, cap held out to accept tips as you board, observing there’s really bad turbulence on some possible routes.
