Seriously. I get the whole “slow car fast” and balance thing, but when your “sports” car is getting its ass dragged by Camrys something needs to be done. Slapping a turbo or supercharger on this and changing up the suspension a little isn’t going to break the bank.

Translation: “The kids who want these cars can’t afford them, so we can’t justify development costs of adding another option. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go work on the automatic for the new Supra.”

If this remake doesn’t suck it’ll be a miracle because it’s certainly showing the signs of a game that will.

Hahaha .... yeah, no way this will see the light of day in any reasonable amount of time. They’ll change directions every 3 years and create a nonsensical mishmash of ideas. Like we’ve seen before.

Al Gore never claimed that. Everyone who was involved in inventing and building the Internet gave Al huge praise for pounding the halls of Congress to explain the importance of the Internet and getting funding legislation to get it built.

I dig it. I’m secure enough in my masculinity to drive a pastel purple Porsche.

Some day, some day I’ll own something fast and purple

Good things can be said about darker shades of purple as well.

The third-gen was still a good-looking car, if a bit plain; not being over-designed means it still holds up over the years. It was no MkIV, but it still aged much better than a lot of cars from that era.

Other than the ST

Well how crazy is that. I see this ad and then just a few minutes later this pops up in a local group :O

I see people get so damned upside down these things it’s not even funny.

Cars are so expensive these days because the amount of equipment they put in non-luxury cars is idiotic. What happened to the days of basic transportation?

It’s the same in Taiwan in my experience. 7-Eleven is king there, with Family Mart running in second. They’re fantastic and they’re everywhere. My last trip, from the second story balcony of one of the hotels we stayed at I think I could see four or five 7-Elevens.

I’m not sure that’s a good final solution...

And this one isn’t totally molested and mutated into some Corvette lookalike. The tail lights are enough for an instant CP.

A perfect summation of why I voted Crack Pipe.

Look at this gorgeous stock car for 13.5k,

This looks really fun, but anyone worth their salt would have installed a battery box, and without the bumpers, this thing looks dopey.
