RIP The Inquisitor. You never had a lot of deep characterization, but you were played by Jason Issacs and had a genuine air of menace around you so that gives you at least a B+ overall.

Maybe I could buy that interpretation a bit better if the film didn't actually have Ripley fall to her death in a crucifixion pose.

Alien3's problem isn't that it killed oo Newt and Hicks, its problem is it's a weak rehash of the original with dumb 90's caricatures as the cannon fodder. It has a bunch of great character actors and gives them garbage to work with.

Every scene that doesn't have Julianne Moore in it is pretty much terrible. She gives a whirlwind performance to a film that doesn't deserve it or her.

He's actually being generous here. C- is the best I would give it.

That CGI sequence was insanely bad. Thee must have been some sort of intentional joke in there somewhere, it looked wore than an Asylum film.

I always admired Demme's brass balls for remaking "The Manchurian Candidate" right after everyone flogged him for his "Charade" remake.

And to be fair to the Marvel films, Both Thor films are the exact opposite. male characters are extremely sexualized and Jane/Darcy/Sif almost not at all.

I basiacally consider Malick to be an art-house Oliver Stone. Every single frame is suffused with so much emotional propaganda being crammed down your fucking throat it becomes wearisome. I have a real problem with films that think symbolism is a worthy replacement for genuine character development and interaction,

Honestly, I would have been more offended if:
