You are correct.
Most of that build up could have been covered in a 30 second montage.
They are padding the script to save on production costs.
You know like Walking Dead.
Still half the show was really good.

Legally insane is a high bar.
He would be considered eccentric but of no harm to himself or others and still capable of performing at a high level.

There's a great half hour of TV in that episode.
Seriously this show is glacial.
BB is the greatest scripted show of all time.
So half as good is still well worth watching.
But this is starting to feel like filler for fillers sake.

I walked out on "Attack of the Clones."
Star Wars was dead to me until the Disney reboots.
The last one, where everyone dies, was really good.
The other one was a sad remake.
The next one looks like a sad remake of Return of the Jedi.

No.
Any of the remakes, sure.
But the original is a classic.
It's in my SciFi top 10.

Fred MacMurray is totally underrated in the original "Flubber."
I don't think Tom Hanks could pull that off.

It has its flaws, but using the word excruciating says more about you than the movie.

Not great, but is has Robert Duvall as a country doctor so not awful.

Fuck You.

This is one of those minor movies that make you want to see what the director does next.

On screen it looks like second rate Blade Runner.

Go see Logan and skip this.

I.V. is often a contrarian.

It's a movie about the soul that doesn't have one. The absolute best scene in the movie is available free of charge on youtube. It runs about 5 minutes. Watch that now and wait for home video.

Let's act all superior because we don't watch the most popular show on TV.
For the record, I've never seen it either but that's because police procedurals are not my thing.
Neither are country music and asparagus.
But lots of people do and that's just fine.
