Seriously AVClub?
At least the corporate masters had the good sense to buy a couple of decent songs from Carole King and Neil Diamond otherwise this would have been the single most cynical enterprise in pop music. There was so much astounding music from the second half of the 60s to waste one's time on the Monkees is

Let me give you a 'fig leaf.'
It's the Press Agents that advise their clients in the dark arts of public relations.
The very first modern PR campaign used the women's suffrage movement to sell women on taking up smoking. They arranged for a handful of woman to march in NYC suffrage parade smoking cigarettes holding a

But then you're forgetting the seven figures she made on the book.
"And maybe that type of publicity could help someone else who is similarly situated, no?"
I think if she did a program with medical professionals instead of say Kelly Ripa then sure.
Bad News Sells.
Press agents often use it to their clients advantage.

Of course it's genuine.
I'm not calling anyone a liar.
But why go public and why now?
When you look at the timing of these revelations there is often a marketing angle to them.
They don't just call a press conference at a medical facility.

Ah finally a kindred spirit!
EC is in some girlie rom-com that's getting decent notices however.
Still that Dothraki St. Crispin's Day speech was cool.

I'm a fan of about 5 or 6 characters on the show so half is a bit generous. It's an OK show that 2 or 3 times a season puts out an excellent episode. That last one was mediocre at best. The one before was very good. But I appreciate your concern for my well-being.

Let's just say I knew everyone's name on Breaking Bad. This not so much.

Had to go.
Not boring enough.

Prediction:
Next week will be Table Setting Part 2.
You're not going to get another action packed episode until the last one or the second to last one.

The writing is all over the place.
2/3 of this show is poor to mediocre.
But the other third is often brilliant.
Then there are ideas that are just left to fallow.
Imagine The Walking Dead if the zombies had a king.

Then there's that.

"All in all a follow up to one of the best episodes ever in the series with one of the worst."

Her Smirky smile at the site of her "rescue" was the clue that she wasn't brainwashed.
But if you blinked you missed it.

"And it was all so thrilling" he said sarcastically.

"Dragon Dressage!"
Brilliant.
