Hardly.
There are a few good observations, such as the ones I mentioned, in that film but also some nonsense.
The guy who turned me on to deep Kubrick is Rob Agar who is not in Room 237.
His stuff is routinely ripped off and repurposed by others some of whom participated with Room 237.
Here's a brief Agar video on just

It's a seminal film in the sense that many involved went on to create The Walking Dead. Apparently there was a lot of push back on Darabont's totally original ending but King loved it and persuaded the studio to keep it.

I really like the Frank Darabont King movies Shawshank, Green Mile and yes even The Mist.

"I am the literary equivalent of a Big Mac and Fries" - Stephen King

The film on repeated viewing becomes its own maze that you just might never escape from.
Start with the fact that there is absolutely no way all that luggage fit in that VW bug and that the floorpan of the hotel makes absolutely no sense whatsoever or that Jack is actually reading a rather explicit Playgirl magazine

Yuk.
Read like the high school english teachers pet got the write "anything you want" assignment.

There isn't any point to that character if he's not involved.

Yeah I'm sure all the CIA muckety-mucks keep their top secret assassination codes in their sock drawer.

We don't know her motives but my guess is Dar Adal is involved.
She's working for him.

She clearly blew up that plane.
She's going to make Lady Macbeth look like Annette Funicello before this is over.

Yet another massive Homeland plot hole…
(Not as bad as their no K-9 rules but bad).
Why on God's Green Earth would Allison or anyone else at the Station know Saul's codes for the Mail box drop?
Saul just might have some sort of break glass in case of emergency back up at Langley in the event of his death but barring that

Unless you take out main characters from time to time there is no dread, no suspense, no horror. If anything they took far to long.

"…but the ultimate effect is like riding a fast train through a tunnel that never ends; there’s pleasure in speed, but sooner or later you start missing the light."

Glenn Got Chomped.
Stop all this silliness.

par for the course around here.

He wasn't mercy killed because it was more horrific not to.

I'm usually complaining about this show but that was the best episode since Frank Darabont left.
Scary, tons of dread and suspense plus one of the main characters gets chomped putting everyone else in play to get killed for the rest of the season.
For those complaining about shooting the guy at the gate getting chomped

Next to Fargo.
So far this new season of Fargo is the best TV since Breaking Bad.

The pats will have their hands full this weekend.

The Colts were playing so well before that disaster.
It a crying shame.
I get the goofy call as an attempt to get the Pats to jump offside or whatever but not why the guy snapped the ball.
Vegas cleaned up on that game.
