I agree that she’s not clueless or warped enough to somehow be “pro-rape”, so we can all agree she wouldn’t, in any universe, be seriously defending the act of “rape” — but yet, she is loudly and publicly defending a confessed rapist on Twitter.

Exactly. Anytime you put someone up on a pedestal like that you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Nobody is perfect and the vast majority of people are extremely far from it. Model your life after what you think is good and right, not anybody else’s opinion and especially not the opinion of an actor.

This is just another reminder about actors and acting. Just like all those celebs who keep working with Woody Allen, what we see on the big screen is them acting like decent people.
