Though he was indeed pious, it’s Pope Pius XII

In other markets, there is a 1 series sedan, and there is or soon will be a 2 Gran Coupe (since odd model numbers = sedans and even numbers = coupes, never mind the 6GT). Sadly they are both based off the FWD UKL platform, i.e. you’re buying a more expensive and possibly even less reliable MINI sedan.

Ironic/sad that the front of the 330i M sport variant of the G20 3 series looks way better than the M340i variant. Mostly because of the hideously busy bumper and not BMW at all looking grill on the M340i.

To me the only thing I’d change visually is get rid of the chrome and replace with gloss black (like BMW shadow line trim).

The 2.0T/6MT version is available only in one configuration, though a good one, with heated/cooled pleather seats, LSD, Brembos, sports exhaust, and Lexicon audio. I’m ok with that.

A more modern, sleeker “War of the Worlds” style third brake light would have worked real well with this new body style.

The way the rule is written in the comment, I would construe it as “you are permitted no more than one ICE in a vehicle”. It doesn’t say that you must have an ICE. Zero ICEs is less than or equal to one ICE. To me, it is only fair that ambiguities in a rule should be applied in favor of the person against whom it is

CPO BMW 3 series GT. I’m serious. I just got one and love it (‘16 335i M-Sport, it cost me between what a new GTI Autobahn and Golf R cost). It’s basically a larger, more mature hot hatch, and isn’t slow by any stretch of the imagination, especially the 335i/340i variants. It even looks the part with the M-Sport

Front 3/4 view has a whiff of the last Pontiac Bonneville, especially from the rear door onwards.

Good: more power, especially in M340i guise

I’m not sure, TBH. The B48 and B58 engines are fairly new (they came out along with the 2015 MY refresh of the prior (F30) 3 series. The new variants have significantly more torque (B48) and/or more power (B58)... the M340i now comes with a 380hp version of the engine while the prior 340i had a 340hp version. These

“We” developed 😄

Better than the vents of the new G wagon (and A class) that look like puckered bungholes

Gossage is such an a-hole that I would never go to a race a TMS, even though I have family that lives a mile or so away across I-35, but I’m going to make an effort to go to the race at COTA

I’d get it over the case Carrera for the sports exhaust and the mechanical LSD with shorter gearing. Like others, I’d keep the base seats.

Was going to post “used Aeron”. I’m sitting on one now, I paid about $300 for it.

Anything negative about Tesla’s is always and ever will be the fault of the driver, the reviewer, someone/something else.

It’s so terrible, technology that facilitates property owners using their property as they see fit and in a way that makes them more money.

Except that a well-optioned M240i costs as much as an M2. At that point, why wouldn’t you get an M2?

It’s not on some rainy, winding, 1.5 lane at best, mountainside road in Bolivia, full of buses, trucks and pedestrians. Not that impressed.
