A lot of these look like colors that are already in the BMW/M catalog:

If it’s anything like the current W205 C-Class it may look nice in photos but isn’t that nice to look at or touch in real life. I took my old W211 E350 in to the dealer for some recall work, and got a current C300 as a loaner. The interior did not look or feel nearly as sumptuous as in the photos (lots of cheap

A GT2 is about $10k less than a comparably equipped 440i Gran Coupe, and even comes with an LSD, which can’t be had at all on any 4 Gran Coupe.

I always hated on run flats because they ruin the ride of my X5.

I liked how the pedestrians shown in the second camera angle seemed to keep walking, like it wasn’t something they hadn’t seen many times before.

You arrogant ass! You killed us!

The AMG 4.0 V8 also uses this hot-V setup

Yes be very careful when inviting the Man into your life.

I’m in Texas and am lucky I don’t need to. A gas station right around the corner from me has some of the cheapest diesel around. A Costco that’s not out of my way has even cheaper diesel. Finally when I go out of town there’s always a Buc-Ee’s on the highway. I typically pay about the same for diesel as regular gas.

Every car maker now feels they need their own Hoffmeister kink. None work as well as the real deal though. At least it isn’t that crappy black plastic fake window in the recently-departed-generation Camry.

One of the KIA dealers in my city is owned by a buy here/pay here used car dealerships. Same ugly logo and everything, and the store looked abysmal, even after they moved into an old Toyota dealership. Yeah, no thanks.

It’s because here in the US the dealers are the car manufacturer’s true customers. Add to that the fact that they have to finance their inventory, and you end up with cars that are all spec’ed the same, few or no cool colors, no manual transmissions, etc., because the dealers want inventory that moves quickly, because

Some cars do count, like M cars.

Re: passing: your GTI just didn’t have enough of the uberholt prestige.

DCT is not a no cost option, it’s $2,900. Also, the M2 with just 6MT and the executive package is an amazing value.

I really liked Chris Bangle’s designs, and I think if he had stayed on, they would have evolved and matured into something better looking than these weird looking buck toothed grilled monstrosities that BMW is coming out with.

Yeah, it’s basically a 440i Gran Coupe competitor.

LOL I often ask for a price break (even something as simple as “can you do a little better on the price?”) and more often than not I get something off. For something as expensive as a car heck yeah I’m gonna haggle

Every time I see one of these ugly vans I’m reminded of the van from “Dumb and Dumber”

It’s so Yakuza. I love it, it’s one of my favorite Japanese car designs. Distinctly Japanese, without veering into weird or baroque.
