Well, dang.
Well, dang.
It was much better on my second viewing, but both times I thought to myself, “I really need to see this is 2D.” Some of the action scenes are a bit too shakey and confusing for 3D.
Completely agree about the shakey cam. I saw it twice in 3D, because my first viewing was way too close to the screen. Then I saw it from farther back. The shakey cam was bad both times.
I don’t understand how Disney can complain about the difficulty of having variety in female heroine faces in their 3D movies when I see the roster of female characters in Overwatch.
Some of Hong Kong’s kindergarten and preschool backpacks are based on these, using the same shape but made of nylon like regular backpacks. They’re cheaply made though, and barely ever last the 3-4 years they’re supposed to. It’s a pity that they’re part of the school uniform most of the time, parents are forced to…
Ole, ole ole ole...
Welp, I live in the shit tier with my delicious corn pops. Mmmmm.

I think I now realize that I’d be a gambling addict because I want to buy Rust just to see what player I get to be, despite having little to no interest in the actual game.

McDonald’s here in Hong Kong has Mario Kart 8 happy meal toys right now. One of the ads has the Luigi toy driving by a happy meal set, which has to be a graphic designer’s reference to the Luigi death stare.
Make it all pixellated like in actual the game, even that would look amazing.
People complain about cables and extol the virtues of wireless but my PS3 stopped recognizing my controllers recently and I might as well be wired again. Sigh.
Even with the TV on “game mode”? I turned game mode on for all my consoles and the lag disappeared, though I currently only have HDMI-enabled ones attached.
I’ve always thought this way. I mostly wonder if I can poop in the line of fire.
Does anyone know why the original Playstation’s graphics jittered so much? Like polygons and textures looked like they were always in flux between two forms/places. Was this some kind of graphical programming thing that was supposed to smooth polygons on CRT screens?
I have a feeling that this is why it took so long for Japan to get anime-style 3D modeling to look decent.
