Each season is standalone, like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. But I still like Heartcatch more than all the ones that I’ve seen since.

One of my favorite snacks/lunches:
- Boil plain ramen, no soup pack. Cool in cold water, and then drain.
- Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and sugar to taste. Season the noodles with a few splashes.
- Sprinkle on some fried onion bits, the kind you put on salad.
- Top with a fried egg.

I’m just a layman, but I think when a system is designed only to run one thing very well, it can be super efficient at it. PCs have all sorts of other crap to contend with: the OS, the hardware, clunky drivers, anti-viruses, etc. Nothing is running as efficiently as it could, because the computer is doing its darndest…

That’s the sad part. If you want to play the latest games at medium settings, that’s what you’re gonna pay every few years. I’ve been upgrading my PC for $500 a pop every three or four years and playing old games instead. (I’m on Fallout 3 right now, not-so-coincidentally.)

I should give up on ever getting Cubeworld. They disabled the store by the time I decided I’d play the current version.

Looks like they just ported the mobile version’s graphics. Which is a shame, because I personally really like it on the iPad. The game looks and plays great, despite all the people who complain about the screenshots and the art direction.

All early FF sprite work was chibi, look at Terra from FF6. Although the character designs by Amano are gorgeous watercolors, it was adapted from chibi concept art, so really, the updated version isn’t that big of a change (Kinja is being a pain with formatting, dumping all the art below):
