I may have to try the original Parasite Eve again. I remember when I first got it back in the day and got stuck in the sewer...which was from what I recall, only 10-15 minutes into the game!

That was a fantastic trailer. The "Architect" had me captivated with his meditative tone, only with the background soundtrack to perfectly complement it. Can't wait for 03/20!

Dammit, I should have beat Extraction first before coming on this thread.

It'll be a linear playthrough, that's for sure. But it looks like it'll play like DS2 (all the mechanics are there right on the disc - this is just adding some new character skinned over Isaacs along with the new necromorph Twitcher).

It's more a gradual tense buildup that when a shock scare comes about, it makes one jump a bit more than necessary...at least that's what I experience. But that one necromorph that regenerates scares the crap outta me.

Too bad no digital distribution site (Steam, EA Store, Amazon) has this game available to download. I have the Gamecube version, but it's heavily compressed. Ah, I'll give it a try again.

What? No more Architecture series? Those were the only sets that I could showoff without feeling a bit childish, while still looking great on my desk/drawers.

@taellosse: I personally love the fact that these movies are coming to the home screen quicker after releasing in theater. Gives me a shorter time to wait to own a favorite movie.

@Foxhack: Well, you better redeem those Digital Copies within that year! I personally like the idea of getting a digital copy when I pick up a favorite movie on bluray, even if it's just a few bucks more.

@Razorbak86: I was lead to believe only the CE version contained Extraction, therefore I even changed my preorder as such. It was probably of no help due to confusion with their press releases.

@Eulatos: All this praise for this game and I've never tried it. Loved the reboot of Pac-Man, so I shall see if there is a demo of this Space Invaders.

@Razorbak86: Correction: All PS3 versions of the Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition contain a copy of Dead Space Extraction.

The only reason that I may pick one up at launch is if Gamestop offers a trade-in special for my DSi towards the 3DS. Otherwise, I could just wait it out.

This is what I was hoping for when I first heard of Steam coming to the PS3. This is fantastic news!
