No mention of the music either, so I’ve gone from cautiously optimistic to worried now. The music was such a big part of the original and I’m not confident it’ll get as much room in this interpretation.

Honestly I don’t even care that much about the actors, I think there is enough flexibility and depth in the characters that you can have actors put some of their own spin on them. I’m sure some will complain, but I doubt an actor is going to really hold this project back.

It does, if you’re employing people to do certain things you have a responsibility to support them if them executing that job puts them in danger. I know that modern day corporations ignore this and that moral failure is the norm, but companies are responsible for their employees. And Terrace House benefits from it’s

They’re the warhammer of video games. A starter pack is fine, but never enough.

They never specified Tara’s claims were credible? Just that the stance of party big wigs sets a worrying precedent for people that do.

IIRC you could cut off part of the track and get away with it. I think that’s what I did.

It’s also exiting for animators, no more polygon limits and high quality dynamic lighting might mean that we’ll finally get good quality armpits. Imagine all the new poses that will be possible now.

Nintendo uses their tech too, it looks like they’ve practically got a monopoly on haptics technology used in console controllers.

I can agree with this, tonberries are really something special. I will say that cactuar are a close second though, getting obliterated by 10000 needles has its own unique appeal.

I think the only one who can is Nintendo by enforcing their copyright and only selling through authorized vendors. But, assuming that this is happening everywhere, that might be a complicated undertaking for a relatively small Japanese company. They’d need to get a lot of lawyers on board to police all of them.

Interesting that they applied most but not all traditional darts rules, IIRC you have to end on a double to properly finish in darts. So that and the bullseye are different. Not that it really matters, throwing a triple seven and double twenty isn’t any more darts than triple sixty and one.

Here’s the thing, consoles drive a lot of game development because they represent a massive market share of users, once enough people have SSDs games can be made that rely on them. Which could change the way a lot of games look and function. And because the PS5 is a system uniquely positioned to incorporate this

I was considering mentioning Star Citizen myself, since they seem to be struggling with the kind of issues that the PS5 seems custom built to solve. I’d love to know what some of the SC devs think about the PS5.

Being a pretty significant backer I have to laugh because it’s true, even if it stings a little lol.

It all comes down to how cheap it is, if they can keep the price a nice amount below the Xbox I think they could do great in the way you described. God help them if it’s more expensive though.

I’m not as sure about that, plenty of games already have ungodly loadtimes on HDDs right now, and all of the technology is moving towards SSDs too. I think the next gen of consoles has a good chance of giving SSDs a massive majority in the gaming market, which could easily turn HDD users into the red headed step child

This is interesting, at first I thought the PS5 might be going for being the more budget option, but with that SSD I could be wrong.

That’s sounds like a wild rumor, the issue with emulating older Playstation titles is that until PS4 they’ve all run on heavily modified/custom chips. Which means that guaranteeing a good result for all games is extremely difficult. The reason why the first generation PS3s(and only the first) could do it was because

I thought the thing that we’re really waiting for in overwatch was the red evil force from another dimension that was the real villain all along. Or has that already been revealed?

Yeah, someone should really chasten those parents for putting their child through that.
