The universe of 40k isn’t that character driven though, it’s more built around galaxy spanning powers that are slowing pushing against each other. With the fall of the Emperor everything stopped and has been in this weird stalemate since. There are a lot of teases of this or that faction being an apocalyptic threat,

I have to reload pretty often to get it to work, also blocking all trackers seems to make it extra bad.

“Unfortunately, my lawyers and I discovered troubling facts about the Estate which prevented me from executing my plans for the Estate,”

#45 looks absolutely wild in that interview, what is that weird completely bare hairline shaped area at the side of his face? It’s like the make up artist just decided to stop at an arbitrary line.

Sounds really good, I’m looking forward to Catra hitting rock bottom, which sounds like it could happen this season if after getting everything she wants she’s still stuck on her own bullshit.

That’s unfortunate, but not entirely unexpected? It’s not like origin isn’t entirely interwoven with the multiplayer/social aspects of their games, pulling all of that out/getting it to work in sync with steam is going to be hard.

I feel like this could be fine depending on the effects and animation itself. But I would’ve liked them leaning into cell shading more for static shots like this. Making the outlines a bit thicker/more stylized would’ve made everything pop a lot more.

Now playing

You know, if we did get some Dominos themed DLC for this game(DominosLC?) I wouldn’t even be mad. Somehow none of this feels out of place.

I’m looking forward to a lot of this. But my big two are definitely the Warhammer/Marauder finally appearing in Battletech and the federation overhaul for Stellaris.

He apparently doesn’t want to deal with explaining that they’re just friends. Which to be fair, is a question that can get asked pretty often, though if both sides are streaming I think it’s less likely. Also by making a big deal out of it the audience will too, so it’s kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Yeah, I hope that this is a good learning moment for them.

I know, I own several of those flyable ships and some jpegs. But it’s still fun to poke fun at sometimes.

It’s a philosophical one yeah. I think it’s used in the same way that people criticise women for not being attracted to men shorter than them. Like “are you really just not attracted, or is it because society tells us that women should be small and cute and having a larger partner is a way for you to succeed at those

Oh I see, that makes sense. I’ve never really gotten around to those kind of mobile games, but I could see someone spending a lot of money over time on such mechanics.

That’s enough to buy all of Star Citizen’s shiny ship.jpegs 5 times over. I’m kind of in awe, how does that game even have enough content to spend all that money on?

Yeah, that 5% stake isn’t doing anything, them trying to sell games on the Chinese market on the other hand is a much bigger deal.

You’re right, Gwyneth Paltrow would make a neat Judge for a show like this.

Breakpoint hasn’t made it too difficult to get better loot, and while you can get higher-rarity gear in Walker’s base, you can never get loot that’s much stronger than your current gear score.

Persephone is such a tragic character and pretty emblematic of the greeks not really giving any agency to any female characters. Doesn’t she eventually, after the forced marriage to her uncle, wind up pregnant by zeus(her dad/uncle)? It’s so gross.

That video just sold me on the game. I’m so weak.
