I can’t believe you guys are writing these long-ass wanky posts about racism when we could be making fun of the Red Sox.
If only there were some way for these folks to verify whose Uber it was.
Try not believing in stereotypes?
They’re not wrong, though.
“Twerking” may be the general name, but when you’re up against a wall and you go bottoms-up specifically for the Chargers it’s called “Ryan Leafing.”
“Doc, what the fuck?! How do I keep having these kids?!”
“Antonio, that’s not how an appendectomy works.”
As a member of the V-club who has fathered exactly zero children post procedure (despite what my urologist called a large vas deferens (I think he probably always says that)), I’d be quite suspicious of m’lady if she kept getting pregnant. Or I’d conclude my Dr was a hack. And one thing you don’t want is a hack around…
The only thing that goaded Mayweather into taking the fight was the money and the knowledge that McGregor couldn’t hit him hard.
Exactly. I’m just not sure why Mayweather thinks he made it a better fight by waiting. In hindsight, I would have preferred to see how long McGregor would last if he was less tired and afraid of being embarrassed.
The problem with transferring technique between the two is the fundamental differences between the two. Certainly the transfer is mostly one way (boxing to MMA) but the problem comes with grappling and takedowns. Boxing technique gives little thought to takedowns and grappling because is doesn’t need to. The crowding…
If you listened to Mayweather after the fight, it’s clear he carried McGregor. When he apologized for the the Pacquaio fight, that was the nod. He could have ended it much earlier but chose not to.
Mayweather was walking him down for much of the fight. The last time I saw him walk someone down was the end of the Cotto fight. He had zero fear of McGregor’s power and your assessment is spot on.
Gotta make that $200 million rematch seem plausible...
Those predictions were coming from people who have not watched Floyd Mayweather fight, I guess. The knowledgeable predictions I read and heard were that if Floyd wanted to, he could knock Conor out early, but that, being Floyd Mayweather, he would string McGregor along until they’d both outlasted all the actual risk…
Mostly this is a fine comment, but I have to correct you on the “guy who had a strong punch” bit: McGregor looked to be the lightest-hitting boxer I’ve seen in a long time. Like, Malingaggi-soft. Feather fisted. By the fourth round Mayweather was walking straight through his punches and barely even bothering to move…
Seems rather aggressive...A*G*G*R*E*S*S*I*V*E!!!
This is fucking terrible.
God, the NCAA really wants to shoot itself in the foot with regard to its position on student-athletes not living hand to mouth from whatever scholarship money they get. I know, before anyone accuses me of hyperbole, that I’m making somewhat of an exaggeration there, but I mean, really, come the fuck on. The vast…
