How is a fight where one boxer can only arm punch, entertaining?

Its not about fair... it is about a group of people seeing a guy have some success at punching in MMA trying to convince the world that that must necessarily mean he can box. It is obvious that the fighter with fewer holes in his game wins in a “fair” fight... but that is not what this is about.

Yes true... but at the very least MMA guys can learn to punch properly and avoid punches properly. This so called amazing puncher has terrible technique and yet has success in MMA because the guys he fights are even worse at dealing with punches than he is at throwing terrible ones!

I think you are mistakingly suggesting that because something happened; that necessarily means that something else couldn’t have happend. You can’t possibly think that Floyd could not stop a guy who cannot throw proper punches.

Yes, Floyd was rusty but he was also throwing punches in anticipation of where he thought Conor’s head would move to. Conor does NOT have a strong punch. The opening 30 seconds told Floyd that he didnt have to worry about Conor’s arm punches... they are terrible... no weight behind them.
