Contact angle wasn’t the issue - the Shimano stuff had a concave/convex washer pair for that adjustment. The silly linkages were the problem. I “downgraded” mine to the LX version and still ride them to this day.

You’ve obviously never owned a BMW from this era then. Lower arm ball joints were almost a 15,000 mile replacement part - unless you replaced them with aftermarket heavy duty ones.
While Tesla’s at it, will it have a voicebox visualizer too?
Can you imagine how awesome it would be to turn the battery into a smugglers box?
Neutral:
I was fascinated by this Jimny when I was there last. They can’t be much worse than the Dacia Dusters rentals that were everywhere.
The only justification for NP would be this, but with a Buick Century instead of a printer/fax.
It looks like an Infiniti QX80 was redesigned by GM’s current pickup division.
SMG worked great for BMW. </sarcasm>
This makes me wonder what the numbers would be if car dealers didn’t do “dealer prep”. Don’t get me wrong, I believe dealer prep is usually a rip-off because it’s overcharged for, but the straight-to-consumer Tesla approach is missing this final *ahem* QA step. I’ve also had instances where the prep missed something…
This reminds me of an Lancia 037.

“We live in a universe of entropy, where the cost of existence is degradation”
It’s going to take more than one flush to get rid of that mess.
I had a related issue once. I use to do firmware work at a big (mega-conglomerate) company. A friend working at a separate division called me over because he had a bunch of PLCs losing their programming after being in the field (off-shore oil rigs) for over half a decade. I quickly figured out the PLCs had been left…

The active aero is cool, but this makes me wonder if the next step in 4-wheel cornering performance is active weight shifting. I’d like to see a Torch sketch for this - maybe something involving elephants?
I’m suggesting a new question for car reviews: Will it Bagel?
Automan did it better
Yes, I always said the 986 base had a pooper:
