Agree. I have no problem with using the Watchmen characters (I really liked Darwyn Cooke's take on the characters). It's the fact that DC Comics as a whole seems to completely disregard the point of the original series that bothers me. I'm not offended by it like some people, but I think it is a clear sign that DC

I was very young at the time, but I loved his Batman books with Tim Sale and his Superman run with McGuinness. And then his son died, and he went so, so dark. After destroying Marvel's profitable Ultimate line in the most disrepectful ways, I remember Marvel literally giving him a comic book to write about the stages

People will just think it's weird that you're watching Lifetime.

Yeah, and no one wants Josh's balls.

So excited to see Candis Cayne on this show, and as the fairy queen no less! Happy that she gets to play a character whose entire storyline isn't about being transgender. Between her, Marlee Matlin, and Christopher Gorham, this show is killing it with guest stars.

I think that monk mentioned to Julia that supernatural creatures were fine, just not the ones like him who rely on the wellspring. So the dragon should be fine, as long as she doesn't have to tolerate any more Millennials.

Especially when the rational for the votes relied on stereotypes, like the Asian women were either too sneaky or too controlling.

Yeah Culpepper, Sierra, and Troyzan seem tight, but there are enough other players to notice that those three aren't taking anyone else to Final Tribal.

I just don't think Ozzy was likely to go on an immunity streak. He first played over a decade ago; he's not who he was. Players like Cirie who are known for smarts or social game might get better with age, but Ozzy's defense being that he was good at challenges doesn't matter much when he didn't win either of the two

I think it is completely rational to be upset that someone was outed as trans (their real life is forever changed without their control) and then also want to vote them out of a game they signed up for that they are ultimately willing to vote you out of as well.

So thankful for Cirie. When Sierra is describing Michaela as "shifty" and "a beast" (does that even count as coded language?) in the same confessional this week, black people gotta stick together.

I hadn't thought about people getting pissed off. But I could see if she used it to boot someone from the game, they would never vote for her to win at FTC, because they would feel she "cheated."

Last season there were two black female contestants, Michaela and CeCe. Neither made it to the merge. They were among the first seven contestants voted off (of the first seven contestants voted off, six were women of color).

This exchange reminds me of the awesome Insecure exchange when Issa's white coworker asked her why more of the black youth they work with weren't swimming at the beach. Issa: "Slavery."

I think getting Ozzy was out was Debbie following old school Survivor rules. She probably thought that voting out the biggest threat will add to her resume, even though the Jury will remember that she wasted her vote (proving she wasn't confident she was controlling the vote) and it will paint a target on her as

That person was Ozzy?

Yeah, also if he is getting fish and coconuts pre-merge, your tribe benefits in challenges. If he gets them after the merge for everyone, all your enemies benefit.

I repressed this. That show was crazy.

That was my interpretation.

I doubt we've seen the last of Erika. She was one of the best elements last season. The way Dean came back this season gives me hope that the show hasn't forgotten anyone.
