I pretty much hated the dream sequence. Batman killing people in the desert in a trenchcoat with goggles existed purely because that was the Batman story Snyder wanted to tell (and maybe to sell action figures of Trenchcoat Batman), and so it frustrates me that he was given the opportunity to tell a huge classic

Thankful for Gladio's mullet, because otherwise he would be too attractive to be a video game character.

Joel and Ellie arrive in their car in Pittsburgh. A hunter stands in their way in the road, claiming to be hurt and begging for help. Their car does not plow through him or go around him. It just stops in the road and honks until he moves out of the way.

That would involve it letting you interact with your environment.

You actually only play as the lead singer. The rest just follow you around and cook for you and read in the backseat, at least until the DLC comes out.

I started playing this immediately after beating all the Uncharted games. That comparison left me annoyed with how much of FFXV you can't interact with. I know it is open-world and Uncharted is linear, but there are so many objects in FFXV that you can't interact with in an immersive way. Jumping from rock to rock in

She got her break writing for working class sitcom Roseanne. I think ASP has a complicated relationship with old money.

Ugh, the way the show treated the 30 Something Gang of Stars Hollow compared to how it glamorized the Life and Death Brigade. I'm mostly convinced after watching this revival that the Palladinos are awful people.

Agreed. I think looking at how Emily treats them reveals this. Lorelai never gets the benefit of the doubt, whereas Rory got scolded by Emily maybe twice in the initial seven years of the show, despite doing things like stealing a boat.

Especially because she ended her fit with "Get…Shorty!" Yeah, I'm sure Sandee really regrets not hiring that wit.

Sin City and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants came out during Gilmore Girls' original run, and both movies actually came out in the same year (2005).

I don't have a problem with female characters being complicated (my current favorite show is Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), but they should be likable, or why spend time with them? The Broad City ladies, Amy Shumer's characters, etc aren't always the nicest people, but at least they're funny.
The thing that bothers me about

I saw Slothrust perform at Comet in the spring. It was a cool all-ages venue that was small so we all were in a room with the band.

I'm Team Rosita on this.

Drain the swamp

It shows that logos, trademarks, and branded clothing keep us safe from the zombie apocalypse. Without those things, we're the Walking Dead. Buy more stuff!

Is Negan trying to seduce Carl to the dark side, or just seduce him? "Let me show you how good my wives live, sing me a song, let me take an interest in you that no adult man has ever taken in a shitty teen boy without REASONS."

I do think those people were paid. Who has deep fandom for Into the Badlands?

Did he bring up how Negan has trouble standing up straight and not swaying? It is such a distracting character choice that Negan is always leaning back while talking. It wouldn't be so distracting if he didn't talk for the entire episode.

I imagine it would need to have more than just samurais to attract tourists. Hoping to see geishas and ninjas.
