That tiger is expensive!
My favorite arcs were the ones once the comic got past focusing on Negan. It was a nice change of pace and I think focused a lot more on living in the zombie apocalypse instead of just stumbling from one community to the next.
Also she is coming from the beach, and I don't think the lookouts were concerned with being approached from that direction (Negan's people don't seem to be sailors).
I assumed Tara holed up in the shop with the doctor bobbleheads overnight.
I don't know that he's actually important to the comics (I'm a trade or two behind). He is present for for awhile there, but most of his scenes are about his romantic relationship with Denise, which is a no go for a few reasons on the TV show.
People like old things, even if the old thing was never good and the new version also isn't good. "Make America great again" and all that.
I hope we never see the Oceansiders again, just to break the trend of Rick's gang discovering a community and then destroying it.
I think the weather there is just too extreme without AC and central heating. I would take my chances at the coast rather than hang out in a Nebraska winter. Zombies barely even seem like a threat anymore to the survivors, a goof like Tara can survive running through a mob with plot armor.
They could use the same amount of plot in each episode if they checked in with other characters (in fact, they might be able to use a little less, since they would have to reintroduce characters each week). It leads to some disjointed episodes on Game of Thrones, but it's not like TWD has produced an expertly crafted…
I liked them subverting our and Tara's expectation that they killed off men. Also it helps establish Negan's reach.
Really, Lauren Cohan? I guess she's just been sick for so long on the show that I don't see it, especially when she shares screentime with Rosita and especially Sasha.
I just don't understand where the challenge was. Patty said she looked forward to challenging Kevin, and then she put up no fight. Kevin was warned to not let the Guilty Remnant see him, and then they do see him and there are no consequences. Kevin was warned that Patty doesn't think linearly, but it didn't matter how…
Really hoping Kelly Bishop gets recognized for supporting actress in a mini series.
I wonder if Paris and Tristan would have gotten together if Chad Michael Murray came back. It would have explained the random decision to split her with Doyle. Also it cracks me up that Chad Michael Murray thinks he's too good or too busy for this show.
When Logan was getting out of bed, I was hoping Netflix would use it's loose morals to show us his butt. I was disappointed that he sleeps with clothes on. At least we got Emily's "bullshit" swear-a-thon.
I disagree with Myles. It didn't make sense for Digger to be at the funeral. Lorelei and Digger broke up because he was suing Richard. He should have stayed away from that funeral.
I know that Amy Sherman-Palladino can't be bothered to watch season 7, but one of my favorite scenes in the whole series occurred in the series finale where Richard tells Lorelei he is proud of her. It killed me that she couldn't just reference that at the funeral.
With her firing the chef, I thought they were intentionally setting up a parallel between her and Emily, always firing the kitchen staff. But then the show didn't deliver on that at all. I really, really think that Amy Sherman-Paladino and crew must be real jerks to not pick up on how unlikable they often make Lorelei…
Kirk never did anything for me on the original series, but he was surprisingly a highlight of this episode. Then again, outside of the Emily/Lorelai stuff and anything with Paris, I thought this episode stunk.
Rose Abdoo said she played Gypsy as in love with Lorelei, which upon rematch, holds up.
