The fact that she is alive and well is definitely a relief, but the fact that there is no sign of a pregnancy or of a baby is troubling. I guess the best (albeit weirdest) explanation I can hope for is that she was never pregnant to begin with.

FWIW - no doula I know would ever suggest his woman have a natural birth, and where I live everybody and her sister is about to get their doula license, they swear. (Ie - The Pioneer Valley.) I am sure there are dangerous and rogue doula’s out there, but I would actually guess that if she had dangerous natural birth…
