This game one day appeared in my steam library. This really irks me as I never actually bought it on PC and hated it on xbox.

I read a great point somewhere (maybe Twitter, I don’t remember) that GRRM is the person to blame for the show getting bad, not the writers of the show themselves. The argument was that they signed up to adapt a series of books into a television show, not finish a story that the books started to tell but hasn’t yet…

It was the first warbled refrain of ‘One More Time’ being vomited from an unconvincingly earnest face in a that turned an otherwise thoroughly enjoyable song into something as saccharine and cloying as indie Christian rock.

I stumbled across that shit on youtube a few weeks ago. Made it about seven seconds in before I shut that shit down.

2. The Grey Worm/Missandei scene was a complete waste of 5 minutes that could have been better spent elsewhere, given how few episodes remain in the season. They could have reduced the time spent on that scene by 60-70% and still gotten the point across.

I honestly think last season got a lot of praise because it resolved all the cliffhangers from the last book, not necessarily because it was any good.

As a boy who grew up never ever watching a single episode of Doctor Who, I don’t think the Doctor is that critical a role model.
