I don’t know if “Twitch bait” is a game genre, but if it was, this would be the prime example. it seems purpose built, with extreme haste, just to farm “oh no he fell off and he’s having a bit of a rage” highlight clips for social media, there doesn’t seem to be anything more to it other than a desire to cash in on…
Another dog shit ironically unenjoyable cash-in tears up the twitch charts for its fifteen minutes. Everything about this absolutely screams asset flip and scam, and scrupleless influencers of course eat it up hand over fist. You could lead the entire body of twitch streamers off a cliff if you told them it was…
Minish Cap is a perfect example of a game that knows exactly what it’s trying to do, does not exceed its scope, and knows not to overstay its welcome. Honestly, at times I think it’s up there with Link to the Past in terms of 2D Zeldas. It’s fun to play, super charming, and easy to play through.
Correct. Step-by-step:
This is my question also. Thanks
I have had to explain in meticulous detail to my son that it’s an extremely difficult job to be successful in and the maintenance to keep it successful often burns people out in their early 20s. It’s not, “I play video games all day and people pay me for it,” as he and many of his friends think.
I admit I am old and stupid and out of touch, but how tf is there this much money in what amounts to watching people play video games? I’ve definitely watched parts of walkthroughs on Youtube and other gaming content either to get tips and tricks or occasionally just to watch for fun. But that’s a tiny fraction of my…
The only thing that bugged me was either my theater sound wasn’t the best or the mix was off. So I missed a TON of Hobie’s backstory because it was drowned out by the music.
“For the record, I quit” is a great parting shot. Hobie rules!
Yeah, I *loved* the moment when Miles is in the energy trap and amidst all the Spider-folks telling Miles that this is how it has to be, Hobie just motions to use the palms.
Something I really appreciated that this doesn’t touch on is how it eschews the obligatory antagonism between him and Miles over the potential love triangle. Miles starts out a little pressed but Hobie is simply too cool for it to faze him, and that ease pretty quickly gets the better of Miles as well.
They should have called it the Pippin. Give that legacy something to be proud of.
They could’ve used down on the d-pad and have a wheel option to choose between calling the horse or calling a sage’s ability.
The real power of the air bike is that it doesn’t have the silly distance restriction that most vehicles you make have. I’d much rather fly around on a wing or a cool contraption but anything you can use as a base for the vehicle will disappear after a certain distance.
Since it seems the distance restriction is only…
I’ve been thinking about this a lot since the glitch became available- truthfully, I’m having WAY more fun playing the game without the artifical retrictions of low battery because I haven’t farmed 7000(!) zoneite to max out my pack, or worrying that I won’t have enough fans when I need them out of the blue while…
The problem is the working world has become too entrenched in the idea that management should get paid more which ultimately limits the upwards mobility for any non managerial role. Companies want to reward seniority though and so end up shunting people that aren’t suited for it into management.
I’ve heard this being an issue in a wide range of industry. Someone I knew who worked for NYT were basically forced into managerial positions because there was no upwards mobility for the things they want to do. And they didn’t have the temperament to be a “boss.”
It makes sense when you conceptualise it as taking a master artist role, a running your own atelier kind of thing. You suddenly have immense creative control and input over others, and still get to add personal work
I always thought it annoying, even as I understand why, that the Wii U version couldn’t use the tablet controller as a Sheikah Slate while playing the game through the TV (Nintendo wanted the same experience on the Switch and the Wii U...so in essence, the Switch was holding the Wii U back :))
