I agree with you. Season 1 was very on the nosedge at times. And I’ll take it a bit further and say that I actually think that a lot of Pizzollato’s bs dialogue from S1 was elevated by Matthew McConaughey & beautiful direction by fine ass Cary Fukunaga. So far the S2 dialogue feels like more of the same.

I’m not even gonna give it a few more listens. Sadly, it ain’t worth it, it’s too busy for me.

Not feeling this song and I wanted to like it because I find Mila J to be an interesting throwback to 90s r&b scene. Jhene does the whole ethereal hippie whispery vocal thing...she puts me to sleep. But for some reason I’m warmer on SZA. I’m not completely on board with SZA but I haven’t given up just yet

Definitely give it a shot. Power can be somewhat predictable at times but despite that, it is a good and entertaining show. I imagine that it will get even better now that it is in the second season.

Hannibal is sooooo good. It is high brow artistic gore (which oddly appeals to me), the direction is beautiful and every actor delivers a top notch performance. I really love that show

Hmm, I agree that the production is stellar, I will give him that. But that voice....ugh I cannot stand his singing voice! I feel like he gets by on production and his moody, dark, atmospheric sound. But good gawd that voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I don’t think he can sing at all.

I completely agree with you. I think it was about showing the humanity of the wildlings. I didn’t want her to die but it didn’t bother me that she was overcome with emotion after seeing the kids.

I heard/read so many rumors about the two of them beefing during that tour. Apparently, things were a big mess backstage and sometimes they would make shady comments about each other to the audience during the respective sets.

That’s a shame because she has such a great voice. She has made some classic songs and I love her sound. I remember being a little girl loving her voice and trying to imitate her movement and ticks. so many female r&b artists from the 90s were influenced by her, Mary J. Blige in particular.

Now I have that imagery in my head, and for some reason she is smoking one of those long skinny cigarettes...this is great! Lol
