Yeah, I guess I mean from like a real major developer. There are some more independent, smaller studio projects that have tried to tackle this sort of thing and most have been lackluster.

Honestly, figuring out how to craft a single player FPS experience set during 1800s style combat would be more creative than another sci fi themed FPS.

So, question of Persona fans. I’m been interested in the Persona games for a long while, but my only experience with them was renting a copy of one of them for a couple days from Blockbuster back in the PS2 days. I enjoyed it, but haven’t had an opportunity to play any of them since.

What’s a good entry point into the

I don’t know that I drink in secret so much. I mean I may stash a bottle of whiskey in my suitcase when I go home sometimes and go grab a nip every so often or something, but I constantly make jokes about and talk about my drinking. Like the other week I had a camping trip with my folks and extended family and told my

I see that people commented to the original poster about health and the hit on the liver but I don’t think (?) 3-4 glasses of wine each day would have the same impact as 8-10 drinks - am I kidding myself? I guess, as some say, the fact that I’m even asking is the answer itself but clearly I’m still questioning.

Don’t worry, I am reading all of the responses.

Oh, I’ve been to the doctor relatively regularly and nothing is wrong. I’ve even disclosed my drinking habits to a couple of my doctors, who advised me to cut down but didn’t seem to concerned. At worst, my blood pressure is a little high but not high enough to be hypertension. The thing is that outside of my

Right, and then sometimes I think about all the other ways people do this to their health. Like I think my diet is relatively healthy, not perfect, but it isn’t like I’m hitting the fast food spot every night. I went from being a pack and a half a day smoker to tobacco free nearly a decade ago. I make a point of doing

I really like the idea of this little four week project. That said, and I know that maybe this is outside of your experience, any chance you’ll do a bit about functional alcoholism?

I should say that I am a functional alcoholic. I’m 32 and a fairly big guy, 6'2, just north of 200 pounds and I’ve always held my liquor

Yeah, I totally recommend it. Actually, all the Steam ports of FF games. They aren’t perfect, and for a couple of them the graphic “improvements” are kind of crappy (looking at you VI), but all in all they’re pretty enjoyable. A few months back there was a Square-Enix Steam sale and I picked up all the Final Fantasy

That’s a great story actually.

I didn’t think they were that bad, but I do know what you are talking about. Loading screens were definitely better than the original version of the game, but much slower than we are used to these days. The speed boost option seems to help a bit

I think the problem in this case is that Konami has largely pivoted away from video games and taken all their franchises with them. Still, there is definitely a market out there for Suikoden and probably Castlevania Steam rereleases that I wish they’d take their heads out of their asses and tap into. It wouldn’t even

Great, I hope you enjoy.

Square-Enix, I assume my check is in the mail?

Ok, if you say so. That still doesn’t explain why I’d go out and figure out how to get the emulator running on my PC when I’ve got tons of excellent games just waiting for me on Steam? It also doesn’t do much to support your original point, that there isn’t a market for Suikoden on Steam because of emulation. Again,

I may not be the best person to ask because I never got a lot of playtime with the game when it first came out on Playstation. This was my first full playthrough and my first real look at the game in like a decade and a half.

I am one of those people. Haven’t owned a PS machine for years and years and am not going to buy one just to play Suikoden. I’m also not going to go out and muck around with what will probably be a subpar emulation of Suikoden when Steam provides me with easy access to dozens and dozens of other great games I can play

Funny. I just finished my FFIX Steam release playthrough last night and was trying to decide what to tackle next and the first thing I did was check if Suikoden was on Steam yet. It’s nice to know it’s not just me

no steam?

Wah

I am generally in favor of players having more options when it comes to customizing games, particularly games that aren’t plot driven, plus my personal community includes trans and GNC people, so this great.
