Just posted about that. Very surprising for my western sensibilities. FFV never really stood out to me storywise or characterwise, but if you brewed me a pot of coffee I could probably write out a relatively complete synopsis of both FFIV and FFVI.

What I find to be most interesting is that the most remembered Super Famicon Final Fantasy game is FFV which wasn’t even released on the system in the US. Probably just my personal nostalgia talking, but I’ve played it and thought it was pretty good but not nearly as memorable character or story wise as FFIV or FFVI,

I know, that Thor kid of his is sooo obnoxious

Pray to Odin it will be so

Agreed. It is the kind of common sense solution we need at least all major intersections

I live in New York and deal with these privileged “ban cars” knuckleheads all the time. There are large swaths of this city that are nowhere near a subway line that are far from the concentration of jobs in Manhattan and are populated largely by middle class and below folks who can’t afford to take a taxi everywhere.

I’m confused. When Paul Niemeyer goes into public restrooms, do the people there expose themselves to him on a regular basis? He seems to believe that people are flashing each other in the bathroom or something. Which has never happened to me. Generally people are at a stall or, at worst, a urinal and I’d generally

Ok, I will start sprinting over

It’s all Jerky Boys prank phone calls spliced with some sweet Tiny Tim tracks

In any case, I’ve been thinking that Warlock was Starlord’s father ever since the first movie comes out, and this comes as close to confirming it as I suspect they’re going to get prior to the movie actually coming out.

I think it would also give Big Mac Attack Zack an aneurysm at seeing two DC characters experiencing joy and happiness at something.

I sadly become more and more skeptical the more information we get

I don’t think the introduction of Ayesha, if that rumor is true, should necessarily be taken as confirmation that Adam Warlock is going to show up at some point. It is worth noting that in the comics, while one of her enduring motivations is that she is looking for Warlock to try to mate with him, she has a number of

Just watched the Supergirl vid, did I miss the part where Benoist talks about whether Kara would date Barry? It didn’t seem to be there

A Superman who gets raised in the Deep South by parents who lived through segregation, grandparents who were sharecroppers, and whose ancestors were enslaved would have a very different view on what it means to fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way.

Yes, although the characters predate Mark Gruenwald’s arrival at Marvel by about 7 years

right. For the most part, even most Democrats don’t seem to think the issue is worth prioritizing in any real way. It is politically difficult, so even though we’re all going to die, they don’t work too hard on it

Sometimes I wish I was just a bit older, then I could be reasonably certain I would be dead before things got too bad.

I’m pretty sure that many of them believe in climate change despite whatever they bluster about the topic. The problem is that most of them legitimately don’t care all that much.
