To be fair, it’s easier to achieve cognitive dissonance when you’re galactically stupid to begin with.

The most charitable reading is that he was talking about the Mars mission, because NASA has a program called “Moon to Mars” which defines getting to Mars via lots of space missions to the moon, and then a bunch more intermediary missions.

Ah yes... Donald Trump, science aficionado

I predict a basement full of guns, tactical gear, smashed Keurigs and Yeti coolers.

This is the same line of “logic” that drives people to kill or harm others in the name of a god

I’m from Georgia and was reading a piece in the AJC recently about how rural people feel about the Heartbeat Bill that just passed here recently.

A woman said that because she had a miscarriage, she doesn’t think people should be allowed to have abortions. The really wrong-headed reasoning for that aside, she does not

“Kavanaugh’s confirmation, while always a long shot to prevent.”

suggested he slam his dick in a door!

“I think one of the ironies today is that people are saying that it’s President Trump that’s shredding our institutions,” Barr told CBS. “I really see no evidence of that.”

“Everyone dies, and I am not, you know, I don’t believe in the Homeric idea that you know, immortality comes by, you know, having odes sung about you over the centuries, you know?”

“Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley is pissed.”

It’s insanely disturbing and also a bafflement that everyone, even the actual media, seems to have forgotten that unilaterally imposing tariffs without approval from Congress is an emergency act. The law is, it’s supposed to be an an actual emergency, and one in which the president doesn’t even have time to consult

Googling charter school failures sounds like a great way to really get to the bottom of this issue. Nice “research”. Save yourself some time and just ask google to tell you you’re right next time.

The only people paying extra money are (sometimes) the parents of charter school students. States provide each school with per-pupil funding that follows the student. If they leave one public elementary school and go to another public elementary school that money follows them. The same is true if they leave a public

Yep. Already commented on another thread pleading with him to either get better at trolling or take off.

Forget the fact that he was caught with a bunch of firearms when arrested after starting an argument at a gym, forget the fact that he wanted to cut the head off his deceased father for “medical research”, forget the fact that an extensive NFL investigation found that he was the ring leader and instigator of bullying

Mueller could have come out and said, “Donald Trump committed a crime,” and then played a video of Donald Trump committing that crime, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders would have a released a statement along the lines of, “As Robert Mueller stated and proved with video evidence Donald Trump did not commit a crime.”

We call this “controlling the narrative.”

A certain percentage of the population would believe anything Trump and Co. say, solely because it fits their personal confirmation bias (and need to feel that they did the right thing in supporting his ascension to the Presidency).

Another, larger portion of the country is

Stephen Colbert and John Oliver are the only people worth watching on television at all.

Unsurprisingly, your blanket condemnation of all charter schools is inaccurate. In fact, the non-profit public Montessori charter school my children attend is in no way meant to “deliberately undermine public education”. It has proven to be very effective and costs the district less than our public schools (since we
