Certainly Chelsea gave up at some point, but give credit to City for some sublime play. Silva’s ball in on that last goal.....oh my. When they are “on” (which is not nearly always the case....they can spend a lot of time in possession with no purpose), City’s offensive power is something to behold.

Meh, I think part of this is that he failed, financially, as a never-Trumper. I have already said further down the comments that he also almost certainly reacted to a D presidential candidate field full of women and non-whites, but really, I’d wager there are a ton of the never-T’s —- Wilson, Rubin, Nichols, Boot,

I will bet ten dollars that whatever the hell his media platform/schtick is, his revenue has tanked while he’s been a never-Trumper. That’s what this is all about, along with him looking over and seeing all those women and POC running for president under the Democratic banner. He freaked the fuck out and went back to

You can listen to her shows on your phone via podcast -- they generally get uploaded about an hour after the live TV show finishes.    Mrs. Duck and I listen while we walk the dogs.

I won’t even turn on CNN, because Wolf Blitzer will yammer on in that weird Wolf Blitzer diction where he pauses at random points in each sentence, and will have various talking heads blather with great seriousness about how much more presidenty Trump looked than usual, and not totally but nearly totally avoid the

Remember:  “You lie!”

Over/Under on how long into the speech it will be before he uses the words “duct tape” and “right turn and then a left: 14 minutes. I’m taking the under.

Everything, literally everything, Trump blathers on about at this point (see this morning’s 8 tweets about the wall, Mexican murders, China, etc.) is to distract from Mueller. Venezuela. Iran. Idiot MAGA teenagers. Everything.

The fact that both he and Flake had to resort to CBS This Morning is a huge tell.

How fitting it is that his TV destination is CBS This Morning, a show that no one watches. It’s been in last place among the morning shows for years, and that’s only getting worse:

Nowwwwwww I remember.

The idiot doesn’t realize the national emergency is his hall pass.   If he calls it, Congress has cover to pass clean, long-term funding without the wall, and he can wait for the emergency issue to be litigated.  He’ll be long gone before that ever finishes up, and if he loses he can just blame the “activist judges.”

It’s a stretch to say it was ever “solid” precedent, and you keep sliding by the “was”....actually it’s been more like five years since K started being openly disavowed (really, you can go back further to 2011 when DOJ acknowledged the Ringle Report had been buried and the case could have ended differently had it not

OK, granted, but I seriously doubt Mexico’s staging a military invasion any time soon.

I’m not going to reply to him directly, but I’ll bite, indirectly. Roberts (and Scalia before him) made it perfectly clear Korematsu, at least on its facts, is dead dead dead. In any case, at least there it could be argued with a straight face that an emergency existed — Japan had bombed the US and we were at war.

I saw this morning that he’d made the semis and my first thought was, “So he’s the real Zverev.”

This is the kind of realism that Democrats need to employ at this stage of history.  It is a simple truth that good politicians get elected, and good policy wonks often do not. Say all you want about Beto, the guy raised $70 million in a single state election, and he energizes people.  Harris has similar potential.

BREAKING: MULTIPLE DEMOCRATIC POLITICIANS MAY SEEK DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT.

Judging from the hair, Hogan sleeps on his right side.

I think the reporting’s valid, because I imagine Buzzfeed had to be entirely certain before running something this explosive, but I’m scratching my head about their sources, because Mueller’s team has NEVER leaked. They’re clearly being careful to describe their sources in generic terms.  The possibilities are
